Supporting Biodiversity – Plants for Insects and Birds

Around the world, the number of existing insect species is in decline. This unfortunate trend has many different causes - and regardless of the specific factors, it is vital that we take lasting action to reverse it.

Pollen and nectar form the foundation of life for insects and other pollinators. However, not all plants are as equally valuable as food sources. Increasing the use of so-called “bee-friendly plants” – species in particular rich in pollen and nectar — can make a real difference in supporting insect populations.

Similarly, bird-friendly shrubs and trees provide an important food source for birds, often through their abundant berries and fruits. Our range includes a wide variety of such species — ideal for creating biodiverse and nature-friendly gardens and landscapes.
