Whether planted individually or in groups, conifers such as Abies nordmanniana (Nordmann Fir) or Cedrus atlantica (Atlas Cedar) are ideal choices for home and rock gardens, as well as for park and landscape design. The Cedrus atlantica ‘Glauca Pendula’ (Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar) is especially striking with its graceful, cascading form. Its broad, arching crown is particularly impressive in open lawns or heath gardens, creating an almost romantic atmosphere.
