Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana Gracilis'

The dwarf shell cypress grows extremely slowly, reaching a height of approx. 1.5–2.5 (-3) m and a width of up to approx. 2 m. It initially grows into an irregular spherical to conical shape, becoming more broadly conical with age. Its branches extend horizontally, and the twigs are twisted into a shell-like shape. The arrangement of the twigs gives the tree its name.
