Sequoiadendron giganteum

Famous giant tree of California, where it grows up to 100 m tall. Reaches 30–50 m in height and 8–12 (–15) m in width in our region; it is very fast-growing. When grown in an open space, it has a regular, narrow pyramidal shape with alternately arranged branches.
