Sequoia sempervirens

In its native range, this imposing giant tree reaches a height of about 60–100 m and a width of up to about 25 m. Here, we only have much smaller specimens, reaching a height of about 20–30 m and a width of 8–12 m. The crown is broadly conical with a straight trunk that tapers to the tip and widens significantly toward the base.
