This variety grows into a densely branched large shrub or small tree 4–6 m tall and approximately 3–5 m wide. Young shoots, older twigs, and branches initially form a narrow and upright habit, later becoming more broadly conical. (Hybrid = M. liliiflora 'Nigra' × M. sprengeri 'Diva')
