Description

A tree that reaches 30–50 m in its native habitat, but grows to 8–15 m tall and 4–6 (–7) m wide in our region. The trunk is straight, the crown conical, and in open locations, the branches extend all the way to the ground. The branches are whorled, extending horizontally, with the upper branches ascending.
