Cupressocyparis leyl.'Castlewellan Gold'

This variety does not grow as quickly as the species and, as a small tree, reaches a height of 7–12 m and a width of 2–3 m. The densely arranged, finely branched branches form a compact, narrow columnar crown, which only develops a looser, broad columnar habit with age.
